Proves: Records the assertion that trees were planted on Parcel A as an ownership claim and that the house and land were occupied continuously for generations, supported by living testimony from David Buckler, Mary Godfrey and Branwen, and by William Buckler’s diary accounts and press quotes.
Does not prove: Planting assertion is unsourced; Trees, dates, planters, survivors unknown; No images or surveys shown; Does not establish title or adverse possession.
Catalogued, not yet viewed: Glamorgan Archives D978/3/2/24–26, aerial photographs taken on 6 July 1971 of Llandough Hospital and the area towards the Llandough trading estate. Whether the farmhouse or Parcel A is in frame is not checked; if it is, the frames would show the state of the ground in 1971. Parcel: not identified (the frames would identify it). Listed at MR-0058.
