Proves: Not held, so nothing yet. HM Land Registry states that a 1971 abstract of title was lodged with the WA231076 application (30 Nov 1982) and that it “had sight of a copy” for WA240304 (23 Feb 1983) (letter of 19 Apr 2026). Its contents are not held.
Does not prove: Does not show the abstract’s title chain contents, whether it began with a Parcel A conveyance to WGR or whole-farm description, or whether anyone examined it against the 1939 plan.
Relevance to the 29 October 2026 working theory. The 1971 abstract can show how BP Pension Trust's side summarised its claimed title chain, but it is not the underlying conveyance and cannot itself prove the validity or extent of each title. Compare its recitals, referenced deeds and omissions with E0019, E0043, the 1961/1975 instruments and the original registration files. An incomplete abstract is a lead for comparison, not proof of deliberate suppression. Read the theory and tests.
